Andy Warlord Burger at Burma Road, Penang

If you haven't noticed, all of a sudden there's burger stalls everywhere in Penang. Speaking of new trends happening in this lil island. So, there's this one burger place that he has been talking about since forever and told her that she has got to try it out!

And we did! You may like them here to see more yummy photos!

Let's see how the hand-made burgers' tasting went! :)

Chef at work :)

They have 3 choices of meat that you get to choose and we tried all three of them! Their burgers are served with fresh slices of juicy tomatoes, lettuce, sliced onions, and their SIGNATURE tartar sauce with WARLORD barbeque sauce.

First: Grilled Beef with the normal English Muffin.
He says: The beef here is just okay okay.. but I like the English Muffin though (like McD's) ;p The sauce is good..
She says: Beef! One of the must try meat every time we eat burger! For me, it's not as juicy and soft as the pork one. Quite hard for me to chew. Especially because I'm wearing braces some more. Hehe.

Second: Grilled Pork Patty with Poppyseed Bagel.
He says: Hahaha. Burger as in bagels with patty kind of burger is something I had always imagine and wanted to try. The bagel is a bit too soft and cold instead of the usual crunchy ouside and hard inside. The patty... was yummy although it does not really stick together. And bacon.. who doesn't like bacon?
She says: Bagels with poppyseed. I was for sure excited for this one. For me, the bagel is just alright. Nothing to shout about! But the pork patty is finger licking good! Not only it's thick, it's also pretty juicy and soft. LOVE THIS ONE. Oh and the bacon inside, double thumbs up! :) This is my favorite burger among the other two! :)

Third: Deep Fried Crispy Chicken with Sesame Seed Bagel.
He says: I would say this one is my favourite. The crispy-ness of the burger is just chun chun. Plus, together with the tartar sauce, cheese and eggs make it simply 'ahhhsomeee'!
She says: At first I thought it would be like McD's Chicken McDeluxe but no. It's not a bad thing that it's not. It's unique I can say. I love how crispy the chicken is and love the combi sauce of their signature tartar and bbq sauce.

Fufah Mas Indonesian Food at Tanjung Tokong, Penang

Simple dinner wins us all the time. Sometimes, we do want fancy dinners but most of the time, we could and would settle for simple ones, just like this one. We were at this Malay Food Stall along Tanjung Tokong and this little Indonesian Stall was just right at the corner of this stall.

He saw that the aunty was alone and she wasn't doing anything and there were no business. And all our friends were not ordering from her, so he decided to walked towards her and asked her to make whatever that she would recommend. Since we both have never tried any Indonesian food before. He had completely no idea what he ordered. No idea if it comes with fish or chicken or if its noodles or rice. Well, let's see what we think of it..

This is like foreign language to us. No idea what is what. He ordered Pecel Ayam.
(which you can't see the name of it as it was written below Pecel Lele in pen)

Kitchen area..

Pecal Ayam - RM5
He says: Ayam pecel turns out to be reaaaaallly good. The kakak will immediately deep fry it for you..  and the sambal/curry is super spicy. Love it.. *if you can't take spicy food, do not order or may be order something else*
She says: The soup and rice is like a typical Malay kind of meal. The fried chicken is finger licking good and it's sooo good that we ordered another fried chicken after we finished our dinner. Oh and the sambal that comes with it is just one of a kind. So spicy and yummy! Of course we ordered another extra rounds of sambal! Two thumbs up! :)

Kaffa Cafe at China Street, Penang

It's been so long since we last update on our lil food adventure. Call it lazy, no time, forgot to take pictures. Hahaha. Anyways, we are back and this time, we bought this dinner deal from Living Social. 4 course dinner for 2 pax at only RM25. WHY NOT! Hahaha.

Our weekends were pretty packed so when we could get away from everything for a lil quickie romantic-ish dinner, we definitely jumped on it!
Menu for the Living Social deal.

The inside of the cafe.

Appetizer: Asparagus Soup with a slice of garlic bread.
He says: Its not bad.. Tastes a bit like mushroom soup..
She says: Asparagus whatt? It's like some chicken soup from Campbell canned ones! Bleh.

Drinks: Iced Lemon Tea or Iced Chocolate (we had both as you can see)
He says: Haha.. How does iced chocolate drink and ice lemon tastes like?
She says: Just a pretty normal stuff. Prefered the chocolate though.

Main Course 1: Pan Fried Salmon Teriyaki
He says: Not going back there for this again. Smells really fishy. But fortunately, the sweetness of the sauce covers the smell.
She says: Funny smell on the fish. Bones everywhere. Thumbs down for the fish. The gravy not too bad. Slightly too salty though.

Main Course 2: Tangy Pepper Lamb Shoulder
He says: I would say its quite good. =D
She says: Lamb, our all time favorite meat. Sauce is pretty good, but meat is too hard.

Dessert 1: Orea Cake
He says: Its a nono for me.
She says: One of worse cake ever.

Dessert 2: Chocolate Cake
He says: Better than the oreo cake but it is still not good for me.
She says: This one slightly tastier than the Oreo's. Hah.
