6 Degree Celcius at Gurney Plaza, Penang

After Escape Plan-ed, we got super thirsty but at the same time, we were both rushing home. So, she actually wanted to get a drink on the way out, along the street somewhere or something like that. But then, after we paid our parking ticket, we walked passed 6 Degrees Celcius and immediately she jumped in happiness, as if she found some kind of "fountain of life" or something. SHE MUST BE REALLY THIRSTY!

You see, in her case rights, she doesn't get thirsty easily. In fact, for her to even drink few cups of water a day is super good already. She doesn't really like to drink water or anything. But when she was that thirsty that night, SHE WAS UNDOUBTEDLY VERY THIRSTY!

Okay, anyways back to this one.

It is only after she asked the man in purple to recommend us their signature drink that we realized there's BUY 1 FREE 1 PROMO in conjunction of their anniversary! So, of course kita belilah! :)

Buy ONE LARGE and get ONE REGULAR for free!

Salted Caramel Milk Tea (Large) and Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly (Regular)
He says: For sure, I'm coming back here for milk tea!
She says: We ordered both less sugar so it was less sweet than the usual milk tea. Both also quite nice. I like both the drink but I will go for the caramel one for sure, though it was not sweet, but the smell of caramel is absolutely superb :)

Famous Fried Yong Tau Foo along Burmah Road at Pulau Tikus, Penang

HELLO ERRBODEEEYY!

We have reviewed at this area before on its mee hoon thn'ng and tomyam. So now it's only complete that we reviewed this too.

Everytime when we are with friends, or sometimes when it's only the two of us, we always HAVE TO order side dishes! It's like a typical thing to do in Penang. So many kind of food you want to eat but for sure can't finish, so BEST THING TO DO IS GO WITH YOUR FRIENDS! :)

Ingredients vary from not fried to deep fried.

There's this special gravy that comes together with the ingredients.
He says: Gotta say this one the BOMB here. A special gravy being poured onto the freshly fried yong tau foos! fulahhh.. Come try this, you will not regret! teeehee? haha.

She says: I don't usually take yong tau foo but this one is like the best ever in Penang! NOT KIDDING YOU! They deep fried then pour their own thick gravy over it! *drools*

Joshua says: When I first came to this place and eat, was thinking what on earth is that, and who eats that, until my friend ordered and ask me to try and BAM!! SO GOOD! Especially the chilli. From that day onwards, if I have 2 or more crowd, we will order and share.

Chilli sauce for dipping.
He says: Sweet and spicy at the same time. Yums! POWER.
She says: THE BEST BOMB IN THE WORLD!

Wei Universal Curry Fish Head at Lorong Perak, Penang

A good friend of ours just came back from the OZ land for a very short holiday, so we met up for dinner. We were on the way to another location, when we passed this place and immediately he said that the curry fish head here is gooood. So, we made that turn and wala! We ended up dinner-ing here! :)

You can see our first entry on curry fish head HERE!

We have two very special guests here with us, that will comment from their side too :)

Eveyone, meet Kelvin Lim, the OZ boy :)

And Mr Jack Lee, our joker :)

Making a new pot of freshly made curries. Yums.

Other than fish head, you can add in squid and prawns. All very fresh :)

A plate of vegetables as one of the dish :)
He says: This one is kinda bad but the bak hu made it a lot better! hahaha!
She says: Typical vegetable, but the black sauce is a bit too plain and watery.
Kelvin says: It was okay.
Jack says: Typical vegetable.

Deep Fried Belacan Chicken
He says: Typical belacan chicken.
She says: Okay okay la.
Kelvin says: The belachan chicken is not very fragrant. Quite standard but compliments with the curry fish.
Jack says: Belacan chicken nice.

Curry Fish Head + Squid
He says: Milky/santan-ish kinda curry. It pretty good but could be better if it is spicier! haha!
She says: Smells good even when it hasn't reach our table. It's pretty yummy. And the fish meat is so fresh and huge! Love it! :)
Kelvin says: Fish pretty fresh, curry sweet and a little viscous.
Jack says: Fish tasted good.

I compared the size of the fish tail with a spoon. It's seriously very big piece.

Sawara Restaurant at Burmah Road, Penang

She has been craving for fish steamboat for a very long time already, and the last time we actually had one was in March, which we posted over here. This time, it was a bit crazy if we were gonna drive across the Penang bridge for one dinner, right so we went to Sawara at Pulau Tikus.

She was definitely a happy girl. Tummy happy, everyone also happy. haha :)

So, appetizer we ordered Cold Cut Sliced Pork.

He says: Haha. This one is ahhhsome! Weird at first bite but after that that you'll love it.
She says: THIS IS AMAZING! SO YUMMY! At first, I thought it was gonna be like weird to eat cold cut sliced pork, but it was so delicious. The aroma was amazing.

The chilli sauce
He says: Sour kind of sauce. Little bit sweet as well.. Not bad..
She says: TWO THUMBS UP! Spicy and a bit sour and sweet. Yums to the max.

Claypot Fish Head - small (RM45)

He says: Gotta love ya. gotta love ya. gotta love ya....
She says: WAHHHH! This one is spoon-licking gooood. Ours is not really steamboat. It's more like a pot of all goodness dumped inside. Their steamboat sets are fro like 3-4pax or even more. But this is as good la. The soup is lovelyy!
