huey&wah café at Bellisa Row, Burmah Road, Penang

So many cafes in Penang it's really crazy to keep up.

It's like new cafe opens up every two weeks in Penang or something.

This cafe that we went to on one of the nights was known to us when they first opened in Straits Quay. A small little shop along the outside of the mall.

Then, they moved to Bellisa Row and boy, they are huge. Huge compared to the one they have in Straits Quay.

All we knew of this cafe was that they serve chocolates. We have no idea where that impression came from. No idea.

We went in with a group of friends and toured the shop around before we placed our order to which was recommended by the staffs :)

Two storeys :)

Upstairs with beanie bags :)

Order & pay at the counter then your drinks/food will be delivered to your table.

A range of flavored marshmallows for you to bring home when you give money. Heh.
Vanilla, lemon, chocolate, passion fruit, rose, espresso and stout.
Price range from RM11.90 to RM18.90

 Cakes with marshmallows.

Frozen Yogurt Popsicle with marshmallow bits :)

Kopi-o with 2 cubes marshmallows (flavors of your choice) - RM6.50
Ours were stout and chocolate flavored :)
He says: Unique really. The coffee itself is nice! Then, then sweetness that the marshmallows offers when it melts is perfect. Should give this a try!
She says: I knew for sure it won't taste good! For sure! Cos I DO NOT like marshmallows unless it's over the fire for a while and melted a bit inside. That also, I only take one cos it's way too sweet as a candy kind. This kopi-o however makes the perfect combo with marshmallows. It's insane! They leave the cubes in there then it started to melt. So, I took a small sip and fell in love with it immediately! Kopi-o no sugar so the marshmallows became the sweet element in there and it tasted perfecttt! LOVE THIS ONE!

Bottle Lemonade
He says: Refreshing!
She says: Sweet and very refreshing. Okay, amybe a bit too sweet for me.

Frozen Yogurt Popsicle (Passion Fruit)
He says: Not a big fan of yogurt but a big fan of passion fruit! Kinda like it..
She says: I like the surprise element in it. The chunky bits of marshmallows! Sorry, no more surprise for you anymore since you are still reading this. Heh. Like this one.

Auntie Anne's at Lower Ground Floor at Gurney Plaza, Penang

Jalan-jalan cari makan... We are always walking and always eating.. :S

Hanging out/berdating/wasting time at the mall so we were walking around and our mouth got itchy.. Actually more like his mouth got itchy so we went all the way to lower ground floor since that level is like food's corner or something..

We walked from one end to the other, cannot decide what to have for snack. He loveeeeeeee the Passion Fruit drink at Auntie Anne's so we walked towards that area and the next thing we know, he also got their newest product in his hands.

That time, his face was lighted up for some kind of weird reason. It's as if he was holding a pot of gold or something. Hahaha.

Anyways, it has to be good because it looked so good in the photo.

Hmm.. you've gotta read on to find out whether we hate it or we love it!

First bite: nothing yet.

After third bite then can taste the goodness :)
He says: Its a must must try for me. Wait till the 3rd bite when the chocolate and caramel ooze into your mouth. Somemore got passion fruit drink to complement it! Best.
She says: The outside bun is soft and hot, yums. The inside filling straight melted me away. IT'S SO GOOD! If you like to have sweet things once in a while, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS. It's only RM7.60 with a drink. We took Passion Fruit as usual and their passion fruit juice is super nice. Love this snack!

Arnor Crepes at Asian Avenue (1st Floor) at Sunway Pyramid Mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

People always say Kuala Lumpur food is horrible.

I think after going to KL so often, we now will conclude that KL has nice food too! You just have to know where to find them!

If don't know where, then just dine in a shopping mall. Haha.

We jalan-jalan-ed at Sunway Pyramid Mall and his sister recommended that we should try the watermelon juice at this stall!

First time hearing this brand. It's a lot like Chatime and Gong Cha etc.

Walking around the mall with this in your hand, is perfectttt! :)

So, we googled 'Arnor Crepes' and this is what we found about this brand:

  1. Recognized as BEST TAIWANESE SNACK in 2002.
  2. It's a famous brand in Taiwan
  3. They are famous for crepes in different style of eating, be it as dessert, snack or as a meal.
  4. In Taiwan, people will queue in front of the stall even before they open.

WHY WE NEVER GET ONE OF THEIR FAMOUS FLAVOR CREPE TO TRY! We were actually too full to put in anymore food into our mouth. So, fruit juice will be enough.

NEXT TIME.

Now you all know so you all can go try the crepes out and let us know! :)

Watermelon Milk (RM6.90)

He says: People say dont drink milk after you eat watermelon! Not so true! The taste is a bit weird but I think I kinda like it.
She says: I don't like fruits = I don't like fruit juice. Maybe orange juice is fine occasionally. This one sumore watermelon with millk! Another thing I don't like = milk. So you can imagine how my face looked like when I had to try this. Haha. It has that watermelon taste for sure and feels quite refreshing also actually, but no second time for me thanks. One thing though the texture of the drink is not those runny water type so extra point for that.
