So yeah, hokkien mee is a popular dish in Penang, loved by many.
BUT how many of you know what Hokkien Ta is?
Hokkien Ta is the dry version of hokkien mee. Soupless Hokkien Mee. A bit difficult to let it sink in, ins't it?
Hokkien Mee is actually eaten mainly for its soup. So, if the soup not nice, it's a bad hokkien mee. So hokkien ta how?
Easy peasy.
The chilli they use to mix with the noodles and ingredients will determine whether it's a good hokkien ta or not. Actually, we have not known of anywhere else that serves Hokkien Ta other than in Nibong Tebal. Seriously.. So, if you go to Nibong Tebal, just stop here for a good 15 minutes and try out their Hokkien Ta.
This stall is at the same place with the Ice Blended Peanut and Laksa! Just click here to see and you'll know what I mean!
