A friend was telling us about this new place at Tanjung Bungah and seems like a very nice place to hang out. Located directly opposite of Dalat International School.
It was after a superb dinner and we just wanted to chill somewhere nice. Some of us ordered coffee, iced chocolates and sky juice. We decided to give their scones a try.
She is not a big fan of scones. He err.. doesn't know whether he likes scones or not in general. He just.. eats whatever is edible?
Then, another friend ordered nachos with dip. We love the place because it's quite quiet and it was quite cooling that night.
Quite funny we go cafe but we never order coffee. Hmm.. Maybe next time.
Homemade scones served warm, with butter and strawberry jam.
He says: Pretty good.. prefer it with only butter though as the butter melts as the scones is still hot.
She says: I have never tasted warm scones before. The ones I used to eat were all cold and hard. This one I LOVE! Very clever to spread the butter while it was still warm. Combine with jam, best gilerr.
Nachos with dip.
He says: Could be better! Just okay..
She says: It's not bad. It's quite a typical nachos dish. Probably tasted better dip elsewhere.

Is that the Korean word on the signboard? Hana means "No. 1" in Korean if not wrong. Maybe the cafe is operated by Korean owner but looks like no Korean food is served :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Waco! Yep, it definitely sounded like a Korean operated place but no, the people we met there are locals :)
